Let me take a moment to tell you a little about the pink ribbon foundation. This group of women selflessly volunteer their time to help others. They raise money through this charity to donate to breast cancer patients for some important needs during one of the hardest times in their lives. Even things such as a drive to the cancer center, a wig, or some encouragement are such a blessing to these women. You may ask why I believe whole-heartedly in what this organization does. Well, I was one of those women in need(and have been cancer free for 5 years!). So, I can tell you from first-hand experience how important this group is for breast cancer patients.
I had the pleasure to sit in on a Pink Ribbon meeting a few weeks ago. Their new project is a calendar. I have volunteered to do the photography for the calendar myself. I'll let you know when the calendar arrives!
