A Senior Model is an outgoing and hard working senior that is chosen to represent our studio at his or her school. There Are Heroes Among Us....

This is little Ms. Madi. She got her hair cut for "Locks of Love".
Madi came into the studio so polite and sweet. After her hair appointment, I she liked her new haircut. She looks so much older and proud to show off her new style.
Thanks Madi, even a little girl can make a difference.

A Great Charity

Let me take a moment to tell you a little about the pink ribbon foundation. This group of women selflessly volunteer their time to help others. They raise money through this charity to donate to breast cancer patients for some important needs during one of the hardest times in their lives. Even things such as a drive to the cancer center, a wig, or some encouragement are such a blessing to these women. You may ask why I believe whole-heartedly in what this organization does. Well, I was one of those women in need(and have been cancer free for 5 years!). So, I can tell you from first-hand experience how important this group is for breast cancer patients.

I had the pleasure to sit in on a Pink Ribbon meeting a few weeks ago. Their new project is a calendar. I have volunteered to do the photography for the calendar myself. I'll let you know when the calendar arrives!

The Buzz.....

Hey guys!
Just a quick note... Sheldon and I went to Destin last week end and the weather was great!
We went to check out the area beaches for our sessions this year.
So down the board walk we went. The water was so.... blue. Now I can truly tell you its worth the drive. There's nothing like the cool breeze on the beach. I Love It!

When Winter has ended and nature is peaking through, we all seem to be refreshed! This Easter we are hoping Mother Nature will bring us a baby lamb. So dress those little ones in Sunday best or maybe something very simple - overalls, pigtail, or maybe even mom's "play cloths."
These packages will be viewed over the internet and back in time for Easter.

Vintage Baseball Art Pieces.
Starting February 26

This is not the "normal" images you see around. These vintage portraits will be enhanced and imported onto water color paper, then hand torn edges burned for a vintage look of days gone by. We will then mount the image onto a sandwich floating mat and custom framed. We are very excited about these art pieces! No one around this area is offering these, since this is Traci's creation. Traci is also offering an optional "western look" with burned edges on February 17th. This special is available for a limited time only.

"mini sessions" with Traci!
(It only takes about 20 min)

The theme will be a light colored background. Then we'll add in real roses, a big box of chocolates, and some fun hats and clothing if your feeling in the mood for something different.
This shoot really is a lot of fun! This is a great 'brother and sister' session. I think you get the idea!
Session fee is $25 when you call to book your time.
There is only a $99 minimum order and special reduced packages will be available!

Welcome to 2009!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. My family and I had a great time resting and laughing a lot. When I came back to the studio, I realized that the last newsletter needed some adjustments. To be quite frank, it was totally wrong. lol. How embarrassing!
